Milan beat Verona 3-1 on Sunday as they returned to the top of Serie A.

Sandro Tonali scored twice and Alessandro Florenzi found the net at Marcantonio Bentegodi Stadium in Verona to lead the visitors to the critical win in the title race.

Davide Faraoni was the lone scorer for Verona, who take ninth place with 52 points.

Milan now lead Serie A with 80 points, two points ahead of city rivals Inter Milan, with two matches remaining.
