Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces has entered Kherson, where Russian troops retreated, and people welcomed them with joy.

“Today we all experience joy together. I don’t know if there is a single person who hasn’t watched the footage of our people in Kherson meeting with the Ukrainian defenders,” Zelenskyy said in a video message on his official Telegram channel.

“As of this evening, the defense forces have gained control of more than 60 settlements of Kherson district. Police started security measures,” he added.

He said after the withdrawal of Russian forces, many unexploded mines, bullets and ammunition remained in the region, Zelenskiy but mine clearance activities have been started by experts.

Albania: Thousands gather in anti-government demonstration

The demonstrations were organized after opposition Democratic Party of Albania (PD) and the Freedom Party (PL) urged Albanians to protest.

The main slogan, ”Albania is at risk,” took place in front of the Prime Ministry building.

Former President and PL Chairman Ilir Meta said the word of the citizens is one law, one mission.

“You are the one who keeps this country alive with your efforts and sacrifices. You have the right to demand responsibility for everything from the government and every office in this country. You keep the government and the state afloat with the taxes you pay,” said Meta.

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha urged everyone to join the demonstrations to shape the country’s future.

”This extraordinarily large rally is a powerful siren of hope for every Albanian,” said Berisha.

At the end of the protest, demonstrators threw paint on the Prime Ministry building and lit candles on the stairs.

Police took additional measures to ensure security during the protest.

Russian foreign minister holds 4 bilateral meetings at ASEAN summit in Cambodia

Lavrov met the foreign ministers of Indonesia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam.

In his meeting with Indonesian Retno Marsudi, attention was paid to the practical aspects of bilateral relations, issues of interaction within the G20 and integration processes in the Asia-Pacific region.

With Foreign Minister of Laos Saleumxay Kommasith, Lavrov discussed international affairs and confirmed “the proximity or coincidence” of the approaches on key issues of the regional and global agenda.

Lavrov and Vietnamese top diplomat Bui Thanh Son spoke about a wide range of bilateral issues, including steps on the development of the Russian-Vietnamese partnership.

Thai Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai discussed with Lavrov priority areas of cooperation, as well as topical issues on the international and regional agenda, primarily in the context of the upcoming summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) in Bangkok.

2 planes collide during air show in US state of Texas

The Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) said the B-17 Flying Fortress and a Bell P-63 Kingcobra collided and crashed at the Wings Over Dallas Airshow at Dallas Executive Airport.

“At this time it is unknown how many people were on both aircraft,” the agency said in a statement.

Footage on social media shows the small plane colliding with the bomber, causing it to split in two and crash.

Texas Governor Greg Abbot said on Twitter that the Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Division of Emergency Management and the Texas Department of Transportation are “assisting local officials in responding to this tragedy.”

The FAA said it will investigate the collision with the National Transportation Safety Board.

Unstoppable Napoli beat Udinese 3-2 to take 11 straight wins in Italian league

On Saturday, home team Napoli’s Nigerian star Victor Osimhen scored a header in the 15th minute at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

In the 31st minute, Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski was in the area to curl the ball into the Udinese net as Napoli doubled the gap.

Eljif Elmas, another Napoli midfielder, scored a solo-effort goal on a counter attack in the second half.

Near the end of the match, Ilija Nestorovski and Lazar Samardzic scored for Udinese but Napoli won once again.

Napoli are having a dream season and are still unbeaten in the league.

The Naples club have 41 points after 13 wins and two draws to extend their lead at the top.

Napoli’s nearest opponents, second-placed Lazio and third-placed AC Milan have 30 points in 14 matches.

Lazio will visit Juventus in Turin, and AC Milan will face Fiorentina at home on Sunday.

Azerbaijani, French presidents discuss normalizing relations between Baku, Yerevan during phone call

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev warned that it is important to demonstrate a neutral, impartial and balanced approach in the normalizing process of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to a statement by his office.

He told his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, that recent remarks by Armenia contradict the process and the peace agenda.

Macron informed Aliyev that he will meet Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the 18th Summit of the Organization of Francophonie on Nov. 19, and reiterated France’s willingness to contribute to the process of normalization of relations.

The two presidents also exchanged views on the results of the Prague meeting on Oct. 6 held in a quadrilateral format with Azerbaijan, Armenia, the European Union and France, as well as the issues arising from the get-together.

Baku and Yerevan signed a Russia-brokered agreement Nov. 10, 2020, to end a 44-day conflict in the region and work toward a comprehensive resolution.

Azerbaijan liberated several cities and nearly 300 settlements and villages during the conflict.

The cease-fire is seen as a victory for Azerbaijan and a defeat for Armenia, whose armed forces withdrew in line with the agreement.
