Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, August 28

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 636 Turkish liras at 00.00 (2100 GMT), 01.00 (2200 GMT) and 03.00 (0000 GMT), and between 09.00 and 22.00 (0600–1900 GMT) while the lowest will be 378.30 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

Turkey’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday’s electricity market showed an increase of 3.30% to 345.16 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 604.72 liras and 604.32 liras, respectively.

The electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday is set as 636 liras at 00.00 (2100 GMT) and 01.00 (2200 GMT), and between 08.00 and 23.00 (0500–2000 GMT) and with the lowest at 379.28 liras at 06.00 local time (0300 GMT).
