Batumi: Turkish prefabricated building company Karmod has completed the installation of new homes in Batumi, Georgia, as part of its ongoing expansion into nearby markets, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
According to Anadolu Agency, Karmod’s Foreign Trade Director Ziya Yanik highlighted the growing demand for their safe, steel-constructed prefabricated homes, especially in countries close to Turkey. This demand is attributed to the rapid assembly advantages these homes offer.
Yanik mentioned that Karmod has also recently completed similar housing projects in Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, and Montenegro. The company customizes its prefabricated homes according to the climate conditions of the destination country, ensuring suitability and comfort for homeowners.
In Batumi, Karmod produced two separate 51-square-meter, two-bedroom homes in a modular format. These buildings are designed as standalone residences and will be shipped by road to be assembled on-site, meeting the specific needs of indivi
dual homeowners in Georgia.
Karmod’s strategic focus on lightweight and easily transportable designs has facilitated its expansion in regional markets. As noted by Yanik, the company’s individual housing exports have been steadily increasing, reflecting the success of its business model in these markets.
