Trkiye’s President Engages in Diplomatic Conversations on Global Concerns and Eid Greetings

Ankara: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday engaged in multiple phone calls with world leaders to address pressing regional and global issues while also extending Eid greetings.

According to Anadolu Agency, Erdogan conversed with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, emphasizing Ankara’s commitment to collaborating with Algiers to halt Israeli attacks in Palestine and establish a ceasefire. Erdogan expressed the intention to strengthen bilateral relations through future engagements and visits.

In another discussion, Erdogan spoke with Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, the national leader of the Turkmen people and chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan. The conversation highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance cooperation between Trkiye and Turkmenistan across various domains, while also addressing regional and global matters.

Later, Erdogan conversed with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. The leaders discussed regional and global concerns, with Erdogan expressing satisfaction over the progress in Trkiye-Indonesia relations, which he noted would continue to improve through mutual engagements and cooperative initiatives.

In a call with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Erdogan addressed both bilateral ties and broader issues. He praised the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Trkiye, indicating that cooperation would expand further in the near future.

President Erdogan also communicated with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, focusing on strengthening high-level strategic cooperation and addressing regional and global subjects.

A conversation with Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq rounded off the series of diplomatic engagements. The discussion covered global and regional issues, alongside bilateral relations.

Erdogan expressed sorrow over the ongoing situation in Gaza and reaffirmed Trkiye’s unwavering support for Palestine across all platforms. He concluded each conversation by extending Eid greetings to his counterparts.
