Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, June 25

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,099.98 Turkish liras at 11.00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), according to official figures on Friday.

The lowest rate is determined as 1,750.01 liras at 07.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Friday’s electricity market showed an decrease of 5.5% to 1.25 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,311.16 liras and 2,326.71 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,749.99 liras at 01.00 a.m. local time (2200 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,750.01 liras at 01.00 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the figures showed.

US$1 equals 17.37 liras at 1131 GMT on Friday.
