Cyprus MP Irene Charalambides, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and Special Representative of the Assembly for the Fight against Corruption Irene Charalambides is travelling to Paris on Monday to participate in the World Forum of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), on fighting corruption and promoting integrity.
A press release issued by the House said that the participants will discuss, among others, the development of effective strategies to combat illegal financial flows and tax crimes, the encouragement of the private sector to develop partnerships in order to fight corruption and the exploitation of innovations in artificial intelligence to enhance lobbying accountability.
Adapting the OECD anti-bribery convention to the global fight against corruption and strengthening integrity, will also be discussed.
