Bulldozers are clearing a road so that an Italian family stranded in the Atlas Montains by Morocco's earthquake can drive down to safety and assistance, the mother told ANSA Saturday.
"The bulldozers have arrived and are working to clear the road.
I don't know if they will make it by the evening, hopefully. I think we'll spend another night in the car otherwise, if the pass is cleared, we'll drive down to the valley," she said.
The woman said she was in contact with the Italian embassy: She added: "In the meantime, let's get down, then we'll see.
