The National Guard in Cyprus and armed forces of partner countries will carry out on May 23 training activities within the Nicosia FIR, including air defence scenarios involving air and ground assets, the Ministry of Defence said in a press release.
According to the press release, there will also be overflights as well as low flights by helicopters and fighter jets of friendly forces.
The activities are part of the annual military cooperation programme of the Republic of Cyprus with partner countries, the Defence Ministry noted.
