European stocks closed higher Wednesday except for France.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, rose 0.39 point, or 0.08%, to finish at 460.99.
The UK's FTSE 100 increased 10 points, or 0.13%, to end the session at 7,929. Germany's DAX 30, meanwhile, added 72 points, or 0.46%, to 15,631.
Italy's FTSE MIB rose almost 150 points, or 0.54%, to 27,911 and Spain's IBEX 35 was up 55 points, or 0.58%, to end the day at 9,466.
France's CAC 40, on the other hand, fell 14 points, or 0.2%, to close at 7,324.
