Cyprus and UAE FMs agree to continue to work closely on maritime corridor

The close cooperation for the implementation of the maritime corridor for the provision of humanitarian aid to Gaza was confirmed today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Constantinos Kombos, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed, in a telephone conversation.

According to a post by Kombos on the platform “X”, he spoke by telephone with the Emirati Foreign Minister regarding Cyprus’ Maritime Corridor for the delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza.

In the post, he expressed deep gratitude for the support and cooperation and added that “we agreed to continue working closely together.”
