Real Madrid confirmed on Tuesday that they have extended the contract of Uruguayan midfielder Federico Valverde.
“The contract renewal ties the Uruguayan midfielder to our club until 30 June 2027. After signing the contract, he was presented with a shirt featuring his name and the number 2027 on the reverse,” the Spanish football club said in a statement.
Valverde, 23, scored five goals and six assists in 104 games for Real Madrid.
He helped his team win one FIFA Club World Cup, one La Liga title, and one Spanish Super Cup.
