Galatasaray beat Atakas Hatayspor 2-1 in Turkish Super Lig

Galatasaray claimed a 2-1 home victory against Atakas Hatayspor in a Turkish Super Lig match Monday.

Atakas Hatayspor opened the scoring with a close-range finish from Saba Lobzhanidze in the third minute at Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.

Galatasaray leveled the game when Sofiane Feghouli scored his team’s first goal in the 30th minute.

Congolese defender Christian Luyindama scored on a header in the 88th minute and the match ended 2-1.

Following this result, Galatasaray are in third spot with six points, while Hatayspor are in 12th place with one point.
