Real Madrid’s Brazilian midfielder Casemiro on Friday penned a new multi-year deal to stay at the club.
“Real Madrid C.F. and Casemiro have agreed to extend the player’s contract at the club for the next four seasons, until 30 June 2025,” the Spanish La Liga club said in a statement.
Casemiro, 29, joined Real Madrid in 2013.
He had a one-season loan spell with Portugal’s Porto before returning to Real Madrid in 2015.
The former Sao Paulo player is a Real Madrid regular, piling up 288 appearances to score 30 goals.
He produced 25 assists for the Whites as well.
Casemiro helped Real Madrid win four UEFA Champions League titles.
In addition, he won the La Liga twice.
Casemiro also claimed three FIFA Club World Cup trophies with the Whites.
