Istanbul: American YouTuber Jake Paul this month will fight former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson in a boxing match in Texas: The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson bout at Arlington’s AT and T Stadium will take place on Nov. 15 in the US, and stream live at 0100GMT on Saturday, Nov. 16 on Netflix, said the streaming service.
According to Anadolu Agency, the venue, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, a major NFL team, seats 80,000 people. The fight was originally scheduled for July but Tyson suffered from an ulcer flareup in May, so it was postponed.
Paul, 27, who boasts 20.8 million subscribers on YouTube, started his boxing career with a 2018 amateur fight that he won. From January 2020 to July 2024, Paul won 10 out of his 11 professional fights, including seven by knockout. He only lost to British boxer Tommy Fury by decision in a fight last year in Saudi Arabia.
Nicknamed ‘Iron,’ Tyson, 58, secured 50 wins, 44 by knockouts, and had six losses in 58 fights. His other two bouts were ruled no contest.
