The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning, for rain and thunderstorms on Saturday, from 11 am until 6 pm (local time). The Meteorology Department warns for local showers and isolated thunderstorms, probably with hail, which are expected to affect mainly inland and mountainous areas. Precipitation rate is expected to range between 25 and 55 millimetres per hour, it said.
