Heavy thunderstorms are expected on Saturday according to a yellow warning by the Meteorology Department.
According to the warning, which is valid between 10.00 and 18.00, isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect areas mainly in the mountains, the south the and east, but also inland areas.
It is added that hail is also likely to fall in the storms, while winds maybe variable and strengthening, with the precipitation rate expected to range between 35 and 55 mm per hour.
