Tashkent: Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev engaged in a discussion on Saturday focusing on enhancing bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and planning future meetings.
According to Anadolu Agency, the statement from the Uzbekistan Presidency highlighted that the phone conversation between the two leaders centered on accelerating joint projects across economic, trade, investment, and humanitarian sectors.
The discussion also involved plans for upcoming high-level meetings, with both presidents stressing the significance of strengthening cooperation within regional organizations. These include the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization, where both nations play pivotal roles.
