US wholesale inventories rise 0.2% in June

ISTANBUL: Wholesale inventories in the US increased 0.2% in June, compared to the previous month, according to Commerce Department figures that were released Wednesday.

The figure, which measures the change in the total value of goods held in inventory by wholesalers, was estimated at $903.3 billion, according to the advance figures.

The figure for May was revised slightly down from $901.6 billion to $901.5 billion for a gain of 0.6%, the agency said in a statement.

Annually, wholesale inventories in June were up 0.1%, compared to the same month in 2023.
