London: UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy criticized Israel’s decision to block entry for two British lawmakers during their parliamentary delegation to Israel. He described the action as “unacceptable, counterproductive, and deeply concerning.”
According to Anadolu Agency, Lammy stated that the UK government is in contact with the detained MPs to provide them with support. He emphasized that he had communicated with Israeli officials, expressing that such treatment of British Parliamentarians is inappropriate.
The UK government remains focused on restoring a ceasefire and pursuing negotiations to halt the ongoing conflict, secure the release of hostages, and end the violence in Gaza.
