Istanbul: Trkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 9,774.58 points, marking a rise of 1.30% or 125.05 points from the previous close.
According to Anadolu Agency, on Wednesday, the BIST 100 was down 0.68% to close at 9,649.53 points, with a daily transaction volume of 130.2 billion Turkish liras ($3.42 billion).
As of 10.42 am local time (0742GMT) on Thursday, exchange rates were reported at 38.0100 liras to the US dollar, 41.1100 to the euro, and 49.0789 to the British pound. The price of an ounce of gold stood at $3,071.69, while Brent crude oil was trading at $72.86 per barrel.
