Turkish nationals evacuated from Moldova through coordination by the Turkish Foreign Ministry arrived in Turkiye on Saturday.
Due to the unease by Russia’s attack on Ukraine that neighbors Moldova, the managers of a Turkish factory applied to Turkiye’s Foreign Ministry for evacuation of a group of Turkish nationals.
The ministry arranged the evacuation of 31 Turkish nationals, including those who went to Moldova as part of a project last week, and ensured their passage through Romania and Bulgaria.
Evacuated Turkish nationals entered Turkiye through northwestern Hamzabeyli Border Gate at the Turkish-Bulgarian border, and were transferred to Istanbul by bus.
