Turkish Foreign Minister Engages in Key Diplomatic Talks at NATO Meeting in Brussels.

Brussels: Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan attended the Foreign Ministers Working Session of the North Atlantic Council on Wednesday in Brussels.

According to Anadolu Agency, Fidan met with his British counterpart David Lammy during the meeting, where they discussed the ongoing situation in Syria. This discussion highlighted the continued focus on regional stability and humanitarian concerns.

In addition to his meeting with Lammy, Fidan held discussions with several other key figures. He conversed with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, Canada’s top diplomat Melanie Joly, and Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares. These meetings underscored Turkey’s engagement with both regional and global partners on various pressing issues.

Fidan also took the opportunity to meet with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the session. This interaction was part of ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the complex dynamics in Eastern Eur
ope.

Furthermore, Fidan engaged in talks with the European Union’s new foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, emphasizing Turkey’s interest in maintaining and strengthening its ties with the EU amid evolving geopolitical landscapes.
