ISTANBUL-- Turkish forces killed 12 Kurdistan Workers Party's (PKK) militants during operations against the outlawed group in the southeastern city of Hakkari on Sunday, security sources said.
They said PKK "terrorists" were killed in artillery attacks and air raids on their hideouts.
The sources were quoted by official media as saying the number of terrorists killed during the security operations in Hakkari, which began on August 30, was 525.
Meanwhile, two Turkish soldiers were injured in an attack by Daesh at the eastern side of the Syrian city of Aleppo.
Turkish forces are in Syria as part of the Euphrates Shield operation against Daesh.
