ISTANBUL, -- Turkey's political ties with China are in constant development as the two countries aspire to double their two-way trading partnership, and diversify their products, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Sunday.
Turkey is currently working on a number of major projects inside the country, Cavusoglu said in a joint press conference with his visiting Chinses counterpart Wang Yi, inviting Chinse companies to take part in these projects.
He also stressed the importance of boosting his country's cultural relations with Beijing, as well as with the Chinese people, expressing his desire to increase the number of Chinese tourists to Turkey.
For his part, Yi reiterated his country's strive to bolster ties with Ankara and enhance their economic and investment cooperation, adding that they are two major countries with strong economies and potentials for development.
