Turkey’s calendar adjusted industrial production index for October is expected to rise by 8.26%, according to an Anadolu Agency survey on Thursday.
A group of nine economists surveyed by Anadolu Agency projected an increase compared to the same month of 2020.
The estimates for the month ranged between 6.8% and 9.5%.
Meanwhile, the experts estimated that unadjusted industrial production index for the month would increase by 7.71% on an annual basis.
While the adjusted industrial production index increased by 8.9% on an annual basis in September, it decreased by 1.5% on a monthly basis. The unadjusted industrial production index also rose 8.82% year-on- year.
The term “calendar-adjusted” is used to refer to data where calendar and holiday-originated effects are removed.
The Turkish Statistical Institute is due to release official figures on Monday.
