Turkey’s automotive production, including light commercial vehicles, tractors and automobiles, reached 115,078 units in November, according to a sectoral report on Monday.
The figure fell 19.7% from the same month last year, the Automotive Manufacturers Association said.
The country’s passenger car production decreased 22% year-on-year to 70,974 in November 2021.
On the sales side, the auto market, including light trucks and other vehicles, narrowed 22.7%, reaching 64,036 units last month.
The report revealed that Turkish automotive exports slipped 5.5% to $2.6 billion during the same period.
The sector exported 75,892 vehicles this November, down 25.4% on an annual basis.
In January-November, Turkey’s auto production was marginally down by 0.3% year-on-year to 1.1 million units.
