ANKARA, APRIL 1 - Minister of Customs and Trade of Turkey Bulent Tufenkci said Ankara would try to boost bilateral trade ties with Tehran by strengthening Gurbulak border terminal right on the opposite side of Iran's Bazargan border.
Tufenkci made the remarks while visiting the Gurbulak terminal on Thursday.
He said that Turkey would increase security in customs affairs through the border terminal.
Tufenkci told reporters that meeting the existing shortages of the Gurbulak terminal would lead to the increase of imports and exports through the border terminal and accordingly promotion of Turkey's economy.
Turkey and Iran have three common borders with Customs Houses, one of them connects the two countries by railways.
