Spot market electricity prices for Wednesday, Feb. 16

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Wednesday will be 1,524 Turkish liras between 00.00 and 11.00 local time (2100-0800 GMT), while the lowest is determined as 1,520.86 liras at 13.00 local time (1000 GMT), according to official figures on Tuesday.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Tuesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 3.62% to 717.37 million liras compared to Monday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,523.80 liras and 1,523.75 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Tuesday was set as 1,524 liras between 00.00 and 11.00 local time (2100-0800 GMT), with the lowest at 1,518.29 liras at 13.00 local time (1000 GMT).

US$1 equals 13.64 liras at 1107 GMT on Tuesday.
