The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 3,750 Turkish liras at 03.00 and 04.00 and 7.00 p.m. local time (1200, 1300 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,750 liras at 7.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 5.8% to 1.6 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,945.81 liras and 2,991.12 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 3,750 liras at 08.00, 09.00 and 10.00 p.m. local time (1700, 1800 and 1900 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 2,843.61 liras at 5.00 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), according to the official figures.
US$1 equals 17.83 liras at 02.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Monday.
