Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday, July 19

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,999.98 Turkish liras at 02.00, 03.00 and 09.00 p.m. local time (1100, 1200 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate is determined as 1,500 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 2.56% to 1.32 billion liras compared to Sunday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,429.61 liras and 2,466.55 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,841.52 liras at 04.00 p.m. local time (1300 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,200.01 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).

US$1 equals 17.49 liras at 1129 GMT on Monday.
