The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,750 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 11.00, and between 14.00 and 22.00 local time (0600 – 0800 and 1100 – 1900 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,712.01 liras at 07.00 local time (0400 GMT), the figures show.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 8.09% to 1.41 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,456.12 liras and 2,492.383 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 2,750 liras between 16.00 and 22.00 local time (1300 and 1900 GMT), with the lowest rate determined as 1,654.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), the figures show.
US$1 equals 16.32 liras at 1100 GMT on Wednesday.
