The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 1,469.55 Turkish liras at 00.00 local time (2100 GMT on Saturday), while the lowest is determined as 999.99 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 20.8% to 538.55 million liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,241.63 liras and 1,240.18 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Saturday was set as 1,524 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500 – 0800 GMT), at 18.00 local time (1500 GMT) and 19.00 local time (1600 GMT), with the lowest as 1,298.99 liras at 23.00 local time (2000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
US$1 equals 13.79 liras at 1113 GMT on Saturday.
