The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,749.99 Turkish liras at 01.00 a.m. local time (2200 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,750.01 liras at 01.00 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday’s electricity market showed an decrease of 6.3% to 1.32 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,357.31 liras and 2,361.14 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,623.23 Turkish liras at 05.00 p.m. local time (1400 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,750 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the figures showed.
US$1 equals 17.36 liras at 1131 GMT on Thursday.
