The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,999.99 Turkish liras at 09.00 p.m. local time (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,000.01 liras at 01.00 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday’s electricity market showed an decrease of 26.6% to 1.19 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,148.88 liras and 2,141.42 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,059.51 liras at 03.00 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 2,000.00 liras at 07.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 17.25 liras at 1146 GMT on Thursday.
