Spot market electricity prices for Friday, July 1

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,949.31 Turkish liras at 11.00 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate is determined as 1,880 liras at 02.00 a.m. local time (2300 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 1.61% to 1.22 billion liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,475.49 liras and 2,495.30 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 2,699.99 liras at 00.00 a.m. local time (0900 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,750 liras at 06.00 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).
