"Jennifer" vessel departed on Friday night from the port of Larnaca for Gaza, Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis confirmed, while speaking to CNA. He pointed out that the ship is carrying humanitarian aid only from the UAE. Replying to a question, Letymbiotis said that the procedure followed was in accordance with the protocols agreed before, for sending this kind of aid to the Gaza Strip. As to when the American pier, being constructed by the US off Gaza, would be ready, the Spokesman referred to recent statements by US officials that it would be ready in early May.
