Spain’s annual inflation rate falls in Nov.

Spain’s annual consumer inflation rate fell to 6.8% this month, according to official data released on Tuesday.

Consumer prices in November increased 6.8% year-on-year, down from 7.3% in October, thanks to decrease in fuel prices, showed preliminary figures by the National Statistics Institute (INE).

“The increase in clothing and footwear prices due to the start of the new season also played a role, although to a lesser extent, which is more moderate than in 2021,” the statistics agency said.

On a monthly basis, the consumer prices index decreased 0.1% in November.
