Salam back in Beirut from Istanbul

Prime Minister, Tammam Salam, came back to Lebanon from Istanbul whereby he chaired a Lebanese delegation at the Islamic Cooperation summit.

Salam met in Turkey with Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who expressed his understanding vis-a-vis the situation in Lebanon, saying that the most important issue is the unity in Lebanon and the election of President.

He also met with Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who wished Lebanon would surpass the presidential vacuum, adding that Turkey and Lebanon share the brunt of Syrian refugees.
