The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) sponsors pound 140,000 for university student internships at research and innovation enterprises in Cyprus, as part of the “Research and Innovation Internships Programme 2024”.
Aligned with the key objectives of the National Research and Innovation Strategy 2024-2026, the programme promotes the new generation’s skills development around innovation, commercialization and productivity, the RIF notes in a press release, adding that it contributes towards matching graduates’ skills with the production base and it enhances the capacity of Cypriot research and innovation enterprises to absorb new talent.
It is also stated that the internship will have a duration of 6 weeks and can take place any time between 3 June 2024 – 30 September 2024.
All interested enterprises can electronically submit their application by 21 April 2024, the press release points out.
