Radamel Falcao officially left Galatasaray after his contract was terminated by mutual consent, the Turkish club announced late Tuesday.
The 35-year-old forward failed to meet expectations at Galatasaray, suffered several injuries and only played 43 games in two seasons.
The Lions fans were disappointed with his only 20-goal performance after joining Galatasaray from Monaco in 2019.
Colombian star previously played for France’s Monaco, Argentina’s River Plate, Portuguese club Porto, Spanish team Atletico Madrid, along with English powerhouses Manchester United and Chelsea.
Falcao lifted the UEFA Europa League titles with Porto (2011) and Atletico Madrid (2012).
He helped Monaco win the French top-tier Ligue 1 title in 2017, ending Paris Saint-Germain’s four-season domination.
