President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulides, who is paying Poland the first official visit of a Cypriot President, visited on Friday the town of Krakow. According to a press release by the Presidency, the President, who is accompanied by first lady Philippa Karsera Christodoulides and the members of the Cypriot delegation, visited the Jagiellonian University, where he was welcomed by the the Governing Bodies and signed the guest book. He then gave a speech before students and replied to their questions. The President laid a wreath at the Sonderaktion Krakau monument. Later on, the President of the Republic and his entourage visited the Rynek Glówny Square, where they had a tour around the historic center of the city, including Wawel Castle. President Christodoulides laid a wreath at the grave of the Presidential couple Kaczynski. He then attended a luncheon hosted by the Governor of Lesser Poland.
