In the wake of the firefighting place crash that occurred in Karystos, Evia, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, has expressed Cyprus Republic's condolences to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
In a written statement Government Spokesperson, Konstantinos Letymbiotis said that the Cypriot President reiterated Cyprus' unwavering support for Greece, which is currently grappling with the catastrophic wildfires.
"Both the President of the Republic and the Greek Prime Minister jointly decided to postpone the scheduled visit to Cyprus, which was planned for tomorrow," Letymbiotis added.
