North Korea Fires Short-Range Ballistic Missiles Near Japan, No Damage Reported.

Tokyo: North Korea launched a series of short-range ballistic missiles from its eastern coast, according to Japan’s defense minister. Gen Nakatani reported that the missiles reached an altitude of 100 kilometers and traveled a distance of 400 kilometers before landing outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone in the ocean.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Japanese government swiftly alerted nearby aircraft and vessels about the missile launches. Fortunately, there were no reports of damage following the incident. The launch is part of an ongoing pattern of missile tests conducted by North Korea, which has heightened tensions in the region and drawn international attention.
