Juventus on Tuesday acquired their ex-forward Moise Kean.
“Welcome Back, Moise! Homecoming. This is the perfect phrase to describe Moise Kean’s official return to Juventus from Everton,” the Italian club said in a statement.
“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that an agreement with Everton Football Club for the temporary acquisition, until 30 June 2023,” it said in the agreement.
Juve said it would pay €7 million ($8.2 million) for Everton to register Kean and €3 million of this amount was agreed to be paid this season. The rest will be paid in the 2022-23 season.
“The agreed consideration for the definitive acquisition is € 28.0 million ($33.1 million), payable in three years,” Juventus added.
The deal between the clubs also included performance bonuses.
Italian forward Kean, 21, was in Juventus academy in 2010-2017 and played 21 games for the Italian club before his move to Everton in 2019.
In the 2020-21 season, Kean had a one-year loan stint at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Kean scored 17 goals in 41 appearances for PSG.
He was a two-time Italian champion with Juventus in 2017 and 2019.
