The Hospitals of the Republic of Cyprus are on standby to deal with the cases of COVID-19, which according to the Minister of Health, Michael Damianos, are “slightly increased”, while the overall situation is deemed to be “manageable.”
Speaking after a memorial service in Mesogi village, in Paphos district, Damianos said that “the cases of COVID are slightly increased, but the Hospitals are ready to do what they have to do, to take care of the patients where needed”, and called the situation “manageable.”
This wave, he continued, will recede, like the previous ones, in the coming days or weeks, with the Minister saying that there is no reason to worry.
