Cyprus' Department of Meteorology has issued a thunderstorm warning with a yellow awareness level for isolated heavy thunderstorms expected to affect mainly the mountainous and inland areas. The warning is in effect from 1100 to1800. According to the Department, storm hail is also likely while winds may be variable strengthening.
