ANKARA (AA) - Leicester City hammered Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 in an English Premier League week 23 game on Saturday.
Tottenham began the game well as Rodrigo Bentancur's right-footed shot from very close range to the bottom right corner brought the lead to the London club in the 14th minute at King Power Stadium, Leicester.
But the Foxes rallied after conceding the goal and the first cut came from Nampalys Mendy, nine minutes later.
Just two minutes later from Mendy, James Maddison shocked the Spurs once more with a right-footed shot.
Before the first half ended, Kelechi Iheanacho made it 3-1 for the hosts in the 49th minute.
Harvey Barnes' well-placed shot from outside the box to the bottom-right corner set the final score of the game: 4-1.
Leicester City climbed to the number 13 spot in the league standings with 24 points while Tottenham are at fifth with 39 points.

Arsenal drew 1-1 with Brentford in an English Premier League week 23 game on Saturday.
After a goalless first half, Leandro Trossard of Arsenal opened the score in the 66th minute at Emirates Stadium, London.
Brentford's Ivan Toney leveled the score with a header in the 74th minute, and the game ended 1-1.
Arsenal remain in the top spot in the Premier League standings with 51 points, while Brentford placed eighth with 34 points.
