The Lebanese army said Saturday it had found rocket platforms and a number of rockets prepared for launch amid tensions with Israel.
A military statement said that the rockets had been found and dismantled in the Sahl al-Qulaila area of southern Lebanon.
The statement, however, gave no details about the group behind the rockets.
Tension escalated between Israel and Lebanon in recent days amid violence in the occupied Palestinian territories following Israeli raids on the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in East Jerusalem.
On Thursday, some 37 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon into Israel, with no group claiming responsibility.
Israel retaliated to the rocket fire with air and artillery bombing on several targets inside Lebanon.
