Italy’s Nationwide Crackdown Leads to Arrest of 12 Neo-Nazi Group Members.

Rome: Twelve members of a Neo-Nazi group accused of forming a criminal organization with terrorist intent were arrested Wednesday in Italy, according to media reports. Police carried out a nationwide operation targeting the Werwolf Division group, which is known for advocating white supremacy.

According to Anadolu Agency, the suspects were taken into custody following a series of searches at the homes of 13 individuals. This operation was executed based on a request from the Bologna Public Prosecutor’s Office and supported by a court order. During the raids, police seized numerous items, including flags, banners, and knives adorned with Nazi symbols.

The arrested individuals are under investigation for several serious charges. These include forming a criminal organization with terrorist intent, promoting propaganda, inciting racial, ethnic, and religious discrimination, as well as incitement to commit crimes and illegal possession of weapons. The operation marks a significant step in Italy’s efforts to comb
at extremist groups and their activities.
